Arrival at Varanasi

Arrive VARANASI from station / airport, transfer to your pre-booked Hotel.

Late Afternoon visit to SARNATH to see Mahabodhi Tree, Ruins, Monasteries, Ashoka Pillar, Museum etc.

(Sarnath is the place where Gautam Buddha came 2500 years ago and gave his first sermon at the Deer Park to his five followers, leading to the foundation of Buddhism that has spread across the world.)

Then proceed to BHARAT MATA TEMPLE. This unusual temple dedicated to Mother India was built in 1936. The temple has a relief map of India engraved in marble.

At the evening visit to DASASWAMEDH GHAT for enjoying Ganga Arti . (The Hindu holi city of Varanasi in India is the site of about 150 to 200 cremations a day on the bank of river Ganga . When the sun sets and the cremations stop, A blessing , or pooja, is performed , near to the holy sites .) Then back to Hotel .

Morning Holy Ganga Experience

Early morning Ganga Snan & nauka vihar in holy Ganga River. Later on go to KASHI VISHWANATH TEMPLE.

Kashi Vishwanath Temple

(It is in the heart of this city that there stands in its fullest majesty the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in which is enshrined the Jyotirlinga of Shiva, Vishweshwara or Vishwanatha. Here gravitate the teeming millions of India to seek benediction and spiritual peace by the darshan of this Jyotirlinga which confers liberation from the bondages of maya and the inexorable entanglements of the world. A simple glimpse of the Jyotirlinga is a soul cleansing experience that transforms life and puts it on the path of knowledge and bhakti. Vishweshwara Jyotirlinga has a very special and unique significance in the spiritual history of India. Tradition has it that the merits earned by the darshan of other jyotirlinga scattered in various parts of India accrue to devotee by a single visit to Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Deeply and intimately implanted in the Hindu mind, the Kashi Vishwanath Temple has been a living embodinent of our timeless cultural traditions and highest spiritual values).

Durga Temple

After darshan back to Hotel for breakfast, then start journey for Durga Temple. (It is also called Monkey Temple. People also believe that the image of Durga was never established by human hands, but is a self-manifest image. It appeared here of its own accord.)

Manas Temple

After this, visit to Manas Temple. It is a temple of Shree Ram & Sita, where all Ramcharit Manas has written on the wall with pictures. Varanasi is the place where Tulsi Das wrote Ramayana in Hindi.

Sankat Mochan Temple

After that visit to Sankat Mochan Mandir. The temple is unique in a way that both Rama and Hanuman statues face towards each other. Tradition promises that regular visitors to the temple will gain special favor of Hanuman.

BHU Visit

Then back to Hotel for lunch & rest. After that visit to BHU (Banaras Hindu University) and Indian Art Gallery. The best collection of miniature paintings. Visit New Vishwanath Temple. BHU is the biggest university in Asia. Main BHU Campus is spread across 1300 acres. Vishwanath Temple (BHU) Marble Temple construction completed in 1965. Said to be the tallest temple tower after Qutub Minar.

Shopping & Leisure

After that go for shopping and leisure on your own.

Return Journey

After breakfast transfer to Varanasi Airport / Railway Station.

Proceed towards Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
